Power of Attorney & Wills
Our firm prepares wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents that are tailored to our clients’ circumstances. We help clients create a will or other estate planning documents to effectively determine how their property will be distributed after their death. While this can be a difficult conversation, our attorney is sensitive to our clients’ concerns and can be trusted with personal information.
Real Estate, Deeds & Donations
The Firm has extensive experience in many aspects of real estate law to provide a wide range of residential and commercial real estate title and closing services to our clients. With a focus on prompt, personal service, the Firm works diligently to deliver a hassle-free closing. We also perform title curative work, document preparation, and drafting of buy-sell agreements and related documents. Our office and staff is willing to assist our clients on any transaction involving a 1031 Exchange.

The Firm has broad experience representing clients in a wide variety of business and corporate law matters. We represent and advise all types of entities, including corporations, general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships and sole proprietorships. We serve clients in every aspect of business organization and continuation, including advice and direction on choosing the correct business organization, choosing the most favorable jurisdiction, drafting organizational documentation, preparing state filings, and advice and direction on other issues.
Our firm has experience assisting hopeful parents in the adoption process and can provide knowledgeable and efficient service from beginning to end. Services offered by our firm include Private Adoptions and Agency Adoptions, as well as Intra-Family Adoptions.
Loans & Title Insurance
Our office is ALTA Best Practices Certified and acts as an agent for First American Title Insurance Company of Louisiana. First American provides financial services through its Title Insurance and Services segments including, but not limited to, Loan Policies and Owners Policies. The First American Family of Companies also offers 1031 Exchange assistance through its subsidiary, First American Exchange Company.

E. Rudolph McIntyre, Jr.
Attorney At Law
E. Rudolph McIntyre, Jr., also known as “Rudy”, grew up in Winnsboro, Louisiana; graduating from Winnsboro High School in 1970. He then continued his education at Louisiana State University where he graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU’s College of Business Administration. Rudy received his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1977. After practicing law in Winnsboro with his father, E. Rudolph McIntyre, Sr., for sixteen years, Rudy was elected Judge of the Winnsboro City Court. In 1997 he was elected Fifth Judicial District Court Judge, where he served until his retirement in June of 2014. Rudy returned to his former law practice in August of that year, where he continues the family-tradition of serving the people of Winnsboro and Northeast Louisiana. More
Ann B. McIntyre
Attorney At Law
Charlotte Ann Bolton McIntyre, known as Ann, was born and raised on Swan Lake Plantation near Collinston, Louisiana. When she was in the sixth grade, her family moved to Monroe. Ann went on to attend Northeast Louisiana University where she studied Business Administration & played on the university’s first female tennis team until she graduated in 1974. Eventually Ann decided to pursue her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class in 1990. Following graduation, she joined her husband, “Rudy”, and her father-in-law at the family practice in Wiinnsboro. Over the years, Ann has had a fulfilling career as an attorney, Winnsboro City Court Judge and Fifth Judicial District Court Judge; where she served until 2016. More
Karla Shirley-McHand grew up in Franklin Parish, Louisiana and graduated from Crowville High School in 1997. She attended college at Louisiana College and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She went on to received her Juris Doctor and her Bachelor of Civil Law from Louisiana State University School of Law in 2004. From 2001 to 2004, Karla worked as a law clerk at the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office in the Criminal Division; then, From 2004 until 2006, she clerked and practiced law with a number of private firms. In November 2006, she began working as an Assistant District Attorney for the Seventh Judicial District. She also has a small private practice where she has specialized in Real Estate Title since 2007. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Fifth & Seventh Judicial District Court Bar Association and the Louisiana District Attorney Association. More
Dennis G. Stewart
Dennis grew up in Winnsboro, Louisiana and attended Louisiana Tech University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1974. Dennis went on to pursue a Law Degree, earning his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University School of Law in 1977. After graduation, Dennis served as Assistant Professor of Business Law at Northeast Louisiana University before beginning his private law practice in Claiborne Parish in 1978. During this time, Dennis practiced domestic and criminal law as well as handling real estate transactions and serving as an indigent defender. Since then, Dennis has served as Caddo Parish’s Public Defender and as Assistant District Attorney for DeSoto & Sabine Parishes. In 1985 Dennis opened a private practice that served Franklin and Richland Parishes. Dennis went on to serve as a Hearing Officer for the Fifth Judicial Court until his retirement from the position in 2014. More
Diane came to work for McIntyre Law Office as an abstractor in 1997. She first began working for lawyers in 1977 in Ferriday, Louisiana. Her duties include managing daily office operations, preparation of legal documents and office accounting. She handles successions, powers of attorney, wills, corporations and LLCs and is our Notary Public. More
Secretary & Loan Closer
Lindsey joined the team at McIntyre Law Office in September, 2009. Her primary responsibilities cover a variety of tasks within the real estate realm of service. In addition to preparation of title insurance documents, deeds, mortgages and donations; she works closely with clients, real estate agents and bank personnel to ensure that closings run smoothly. Staci came to work for McIntyre Law Office in July, 2013. Her role at McIntyre Law Office has grown beyond greeting our clients, scheduling appointments and organizing files. She now assists with the preparation of deeds, mortgages, donations and title insurance documents. She also works with clients, realtors and bankers to close transactions. More
